This podcast strives to organically give voice to caregivers, raise awareness about aging issues including dementia, and promote healthy aging. Interviews are conducted with experts in the health and aging industry and caregivers to help educate our community about healthy lifestyles, aging issues, and caregiver experiences and strategies.

 

Fatou Ceesay is President and CEO of Cairasu All Things Alzheimer’s, a nonprofit dedicated to providing services to all people with dementia and their families, providing caregiver education, and promoting brain health. Ms. Ceesay is also the Owner and Manager of Cairasu Home Care, a top-rated home care agency that provided security and companionship to clients at home.

Ms. Ceesay is a native of Gambia in West Africa and has been a resident of Madison, Wisconsin for over twenty years. She graduated from Edgewood College and the University of Wisconsin – Madison.  Ms. Ceesay has worked with older and disabled adults in all settings and in various capacities. She is a staunch advocate for Alzheimer’s and Dementia related issues and a proud recipient of Alzheimer’s Association’s 2017 Advocacy award. She is also the recipient of 2021 Dane County Small Business Award. She serves on several nonprofit boards and is the Ambassador for the Alzheimer’s Association, helping to define and advocate for Alzheimer’s policy priorities. She enjoys family time and making meaningful contributions to her community.
